Nara does not have its own airport; the nearest airpots are Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka Itami Airport (ITM, for domestic flights). Limousine bus services are available from both airports. Nara is also conveniently connected with Osaka and Kyoto by Japan Railway and Kintetsu Line.

Local transportaion

Many hotels are located near JR Nara Station. From the station, we recommend taking Nara Kotsu Bus to the conference site (the distance is about 2.5 km and it takes 15 min by bus + 5 min on foot). Loop Bus No. 2 operates from JR Nara Station to the conference site via Kintetsu Nara Station, and Loop Bus No. 1 operates vice versa. The nearest bus stop to the conference site is Bus Stop N7. The bus operates frequently (every 10 min), and it costs JPY 210 one way.

There are many hotels in the area around the conference site. See, for example, the following web page.
